Your Compassion Makes a Difference 

“For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but in order that the world may be saved through Him.” John 3:17

Easter is the ultimate expression of God’s boundless love and compassion. In His mercy, He saw a world in need and responded with the greatest act of grace - sending His Son to bring light, hope, and redemption. The Scriptures reveal this incredible truth: through Christ’s sacrifice, we are not only forgiven but welcomed into an eternal relationship with Him. Easter reminds us that grace is not earned; it is a gift freely given by a loving and compassionate God.

Though centuries have passed since the first Easter morning, its message remains just as powerful today. Sin created a divide between us and God, yet His compassion would not allow us to remain lost. In His love, He sent Jesus to take our place, bearing our burdens, suffering for our sake, and ultimately defeating death so that we may have life. His resurrection is the victory that brings hope to a world in darkness.

At New Horizons of North Texas, we are inspired by this same compassion. Just as Christ reached out to the broken, the weary, and the lost, we are called to do the same. We believe in being the hands and feet of Jesus - offering kindness, encouragement, and the life-changing truth of God’s love to the students of North Texas. Every day, we have the privilege of sharing the hope of Easter through acts of love and service, showing our students that they are seen, valued, and deeply cared for.

We invite you to partner with us in this mission of compassion. Together, we can continue bringing the light of Easter into young hearts, sharing God’s love in a way that transforms lives.

To take part in our mission of compassion this Easter season, we ask that you consider giving to our Summer Camp Campaign. The Summer Camp Campaign has a monetary goal of $15,000 and supports the efforts desperately needed for programming this coming June and July. New Horizons of North Texas is proud to continue our programming in the summer of 2025, providing a safe, enriching, and academically supportive environment for at-risk students in Dallas and Tarrant counties. Our program is designed to foster learning, personal growth, and skill development, ensuring students stay engaged and prepared for the future.

Summer learning loss is a severe issue and can make a life-long difference in an individual. Students are reported to lose up to 20% in reading skills and 27% in math skills over a summer break, especially in elementary grades. You can help us make a significant impact.
