Every child has possibility and potential, gifts and talents, and a purpose. But sometimes they
just need additional encouragement and opportunity to flourish. I am honored to be able to
join New Horizons of North Texas, where the unique abilities, learning styles, and future
prospects of every child are cultivated with love and guidance.

New Horizons of North Texas recognizes that our education system is struggling to meet the
needs of today’s children. Our schools are underfunded, understaffed, and under-programmed
to meet the needs of students and their families. Our school administrators, faculty, and staff
face a daunting task each year as they are required to educate, support, mentor, and cultivate
growth in our students.

New Horizons of North Texas understands that “it takes a village to raise a child,” and through
staff, volunteers, and donors we are able to become that village. We can come alongside the
schools in the North Texas area to provide the needed academic assistance, guiding
mentorship, and support services to children and their families. Additionally, New Horizons
shares the truth of God’s love through faith-building lessons and the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

I am enthusiastic about assuming the role of Executive Director of New Horizons of North
Texas. I am inspired by the history of the organization and the immeasurable potential for its
future. I anticipate that God is going to do great things with NHNTX, as we remain committed to
His purpose. Psalm 37: 5 says, “Commit your way to the Lord, and He will do this.” If we remain
committed to the Lord and focused on the mission and vision of NHNTX, great things will
continue to be accomplished with the children and youth of North Texas!
